Slow Cooker Ribs

This is such an easy, yummy BBQ Rib recipe in the crock pot - they are absolutely fall apart tender and you use your favorite bottled sauce (or favorite homemade recipe!) to achieve the saucy perfection you're looking for!

We serve this perfect-for-summer dinner with homemade mac 'n cheese and fresh corn on the cob. Yumm!

Slow Cooker Ribs

Ingredients
2 lbs pork ribs
½ regular sized bottle BBQ sauce
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp pepper
¼ tsp salt
½ cup water
1 tsp chicken bouillon

Directions
  1. Combine salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Rub over ribs. Place ribs in slow cooker and pour water around. Add bouillon cube to water. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours. If ribs are too large to fit along the bottom and be in the liquid you may want to rotate them once or twice so the one on top doesn't dry out.
  2. 30 minutes before you are ready to eat, drain off all excess liquid and pour BBQ sauce over ribs, brush to coat well. Replace cover and continue cooking for 30 more minutes.
  3. Serve and enjoy. Use additional BBQ sauce if desired.
